Red Ribbon Recovery Indiana, which marked its first year of operation in June, has released its first tracked patient outcome data, and the results place the Greenwood treatment center above national benchmarks across multiple measures.
In the program’s first six months of tracked outcomes, 88% of patients who completed treatment reported maintaining sobriety 30 days after discharge, and 70% remained sober at the six-month follow-up. Between 84% and 86% of patients who completed the program also reported good or improved overall health and quality of life at six months, a measure that reflects recovery as a sustainable return to daily function, not just abstinence. A second six-month dataset is nearly complete.
The outcomes reflect the center’s integrated approach to substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment, delivered at its Greenwood facility and statewide through virtual care. Red Ribbon Recovery Indiana is certified by the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction and accredited by The Joint Commission, a distinction held by only about one in five treatment centers in the country.
